From the director to the production assistants, every member of our team is vital to our success. We are currently searching for the following people to join us:
Storyboard Artists must be able to visualize scenes quickly and effectively, while delivering quality work under tight deadlines. Great visual storytelling skills and a solid understanding of the language of the camera — framing, perspective, lenses, coverage, continuity, camera movement, blocking — are a must. We prefer our Storyboard Artists to work digitally and deliver their final frames in layered files ready to animate. This is not a junior position; at least three years experience is a must. Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter or a similar program is also a must. Most Storyboard Artists work on a Cintiq, Wacom tablet or similar device.
Previs Artists at Martiniere & Sowd Productions collaborate with the director to shape the project through solid camera work, editing and animation. Great visual storytelling skills and a solid understanding of the language of the camera — framing, perspective, lenses, coverage, continuity, camera movement, blocking — are a must. This is not a junior animator position; at least three years experience is a must. Character-animation skills and working with mo-cap are a plus.
Animatics Editors at Aaron Sowd Productions collaborate with the director to shape the project through solid camera work, editing and animation. Great visual storytelling skills and a solid understanding of the language of the camera — framing, perspective, lenses, coverage, continuity, camera movement, blocking — are a must. This is not a junior editor position; at least three years experience is a must. Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and their associated plug-ins is a must. Knowledge of Element and any 3D programs (3ds Max, Maya, etc.) is a plus.
